The Jesus Code

The Jesus Code

One of the most thought provoking books I have ever read.
I am not a religious person, and I certainly wouldn't define myself as a Christian. I am however somewhat spiritual in nature, and so I was attracted to this book on the basis that it seemed to offer a different, more 'spiritual' perspective on one of the most important characters in human history. I don't think I was prepared for how many of the author's thoughts would seem so logical to me, or resonate with me on such a personal level.

I have been shuffling along the path of inner transformation (as far as I can define it) for a long time now, but never have I heard such a plausible argument that the teachings of Jesus could be so deeply connected with that path. Reading the author's perspective on the Beatitudes was truly an awakening moment. One of many that I found peppered throughout the book, in fact. This book might have you chuckling to yourself as you gaze into the mirror reflecting on your own life experience, or screaming in vitriolic resistance to the ideas and opinions the author expresses throughout its pages. Either way, I'll bet you'll be intrigued to read the follow-up work, The Crucifixion Code. I know I am.
